There’s nothing that fuels our fire quite like seeing our contracts in action, and as we like to say: it’s not about the NFT, it’s what you do with it.
This week’s featured project is Wild Friends — a blockchain-based project on Polygon where you can support, interact with, and learn about the animals under the care of Senda Verde. The Bolivian wildlife sanctuary was born in 2003 with the purpose of rescuing and protecting animals that are victims of animal abuse and trafficking, as well as situations where their habitats are. To date, 1000 wild animals have been given a second life chance at the sanctuary and are cared for by a team of experts and volunteers from all around the world with the leadership of wildlife experts Vicky and Marcelo.
Collecting a Wild Friends NFT unlocks access to a gated virtual tour of the sanctuary, hosted on Bonfire, as well as a virtual animal that you can take care of!
