Full Stack Campaign Development
A look under the hood of Reveel's Creator Grant Competition, powered by Decent.
How do you build a cross-community campaign that celebrates collaboration through music NFTs minted on L2s? Easy, you build it with Decent.
Decent arms creators, devs, and organizations with a full suite of tools to build their web3 releases from the ground up via the no-code Creator HQ and Javascript-accessible SDK. From web3 beginner to seasoned coder, Decent’s onchain infrastructure enables users from all background to turn their ideas to reality.
Reveel, a revenue share protocol that enables trustless, gas-efficient and composable web3 earning distribution, launched an NFT collaboration competition with a goal to give creators an opportunity to work with new partners, explore outside of their comfort zone, and discover new tools that facilitate collaboration.
With the help of the Decent SDK and Creator HQ, Reveel successfully executed a robust multi-chain collaborative activation that yielded 57 collaborative NFT projects, 373 unique collectors, and an impressive $20,000 for participating creators.
Let’s see how they did it 👇
Tools in Action:
Song Submissions
The first step was to set controls for certain elements of the competition submissions to ensure fairness for participants and establish a standard for the contracts.
Forking the 3rdParty-Deployer repo, Reveel created a custom deployment page that hardcoded elements such as sale start date, mint price, Reveel revenue path, and open edition count into each NFT. NFTs minted through this custom deployer were done on Decent’s Editions contract.
Setting the Stage
The next step was to create an interface where fans could vote on their favorite entries.
Reveel tapped into the Decent SDK to import submission contracts into the Portfolio Page template, creating their own curated marketplace from which voters could view, listen, and vote on entries.
Multi-Chain Mixtape
To celebrate the success of the competition, Reveel teamed up with Future Surf Radio to release The Creators Mixtape, a massive onchain collaboration featuring more than 120 artists.
This time Reveel tapped into the no-code Creator HQ to release an Editions contract with a Reveel payout address handling a revenue share split between 460 wallets, deployed on Polygon. Thanks to The Box’ multi-chain NFT checkout, collectors can mint The Creators Mixtape in one click regardless of the tokens they hold in their wallets.
