Can NFTs be more than just digital collectibles? | Some Decent News
The weekly web3 roundup from Decent.
GM / GA / GN
Happy Friday, Decent fam! This week brought some exciting updates to key features in Creator HQ - increasing discoverability and saving creators time while they are, well, creating - as well as interesting shifts in web3 as a whole.
If you aren’t subscribed, please join us in our web3 weekly roundup as we cover updates from Decent, highlight incredible creator projects, and think deeper on current events in web3.
Let’s dive in!
Unlock the Entire Decent Ecosystem
Last week we launched our new Explore page, which aggregated all NFTs created through Creator HQ and enabled collectors to explore Decent contracts across all blockchains and release types. This was an exciting step for our team, but it wasn’t the finish line. What good is an ecosystem when it is confined to the walls of our platform?
Explore will now spotlight all projects utilizing Decent tech across platforms like Bonfire and the402, website builders such as Squarespace or Wix, custom mint pages, or Decent-generated collection pages.
CSV Upload for Airdrops Hits Creator HQ
Creator HQ now supports the ability for creators to import CSV files of addressable wallets for airdrops in addition to manual entry! Whether it’s a small batch or an airdrop for a community of hundreds, CSV import will cut down on deployment time so creators can spend more time elsewhere.
Decent DIY: Custom Collection Pages
Did you know that you can build your own custom collection page with Decent’s low-code Minting Page template? Through our SDK, creators can build fully customizable minting pages for their projects that is entirely unique to them and integrate them into their existing websites, if applicable.
Watch Decent co-founder Charlie Durbin break it down in a quick how-to video, and get started with the Minting Page template here.
A Decent Discussion
Ethereum is shifting as EigenLayer comes into play, enabling L2 chains and other modular execution layers to utilize Ethereum’s level of security via restaking. We love our L2 chains and are excited about this new development, but we’re curious:
What do you think about this new shift towards Ethereum as a "base” security layer for L2 chains? What impact do you think this will have on blockchain architecture?
Thanks for tapping in!
